Professor David Gani BSc DPhil CChem FRSC FRSE

David Gani is responsible for providing corporate leadership in shaping and implementing Glasgow City of Science’s strategies and is accountable to partners, stakeholders and the public for raising the profile of Glasgow as a centre for excellence in engaging and communicating with the wider community on the excitement, value and potential of Science.

Professor John Coggins OBE, FRSE, FSB

Professor John Coggins OBE, FRSE, FSB is Emeritus Professor of Molecular Enzymology and Honorary Senior Research Fellow in the School of Biology at the University of Glasgow. He was formerly Vice Principal for the Faculties of Biomedical and Life Sciences, Clinical Medicine and Veterinary Medicine.

Dr Heather Reid OBE

Heather Reid has an honours degree in physics and a masters degree in meteorology from the University of Edinburgh. She was BBC Scotland’s Chief Forecaster between 1994 and 2009. During this time she combined her TV role with promoting science to young people and the general public. She has worked in partnership with universities, science centres, industry and government.

Tracey is known for her high energy, strategic visioning, and creative problem-solving, and for creating vibrant, multi-disciplinary environments, through collaboration, partnerships, and relationships, that empower others to succeed.
